We headed to Roswell in May to celebrate Alec's graduation from high school and Averie's from 8th grade - big milestones for both. Alec's graduation from Roswell High was massive. He performed before the ceremony, dropped his drums and joined the rest of the students. We were so proud to sit in the grandstands and see him graduate with honors. We celebrated with his BFF Diop and friends and had a great time dancing! He's at Georgea Southern right now and started off his first semester with straight As (7).
Averie's graduation was really special. Each High Meadows student gave a speech - some even sang songs. Averie was praised for being the glue for her class. We cried! She's adjusting to high school really well and following in her brother's footsteps by playing drums too. So proud of these two!!!
